"Vintage" Graflex Speed Graphic 4X5 Press Film Camera. Appears to be a Military version:"Camera, Still Picture, 4X5 inch Negative, Type: C-6, Specification MIL-C-4136, Graflex Part No. 31947-G3, Serial No. 856083, Order No. AF-8340, Stock No. 8900-107800.
Based on order # it appears to have been part of the US Air Force!!
Cosmetic Condition: "Fair/Poor" with various indications of use and age visible.
Operational Condition: "Fair/Non-Operational" Rail and bel...lows in good shape, ground glass rear focus is good.Lens shutter fires but is NOT accurate at ALL.
Optics: "Fair" rear element good but front element has various cleaning marks.
Simply put, this is a non-operational "project" camera.Note: Sold AS-IS , non-operational.
Its an interesting camera because of its military heritage and I had plans of restoring it but have not made the time and I should pass it on to someone who can.
