***CORK FC/CORK CITY FC***1920s/1930s ERAVINTAGE OFFICIAL ENAMEL BADGE***GOOD ORIGINAL CONDITION***
Good Original Condition Enamel badgewhich was produced by W.O. Lewis (Badges) Ltd of Birmingham and sold/given tosupporters of Cork FC during the late 1920’s early 1930’s.
Founded in 1921 as Fordsons (namedafter the Ford Motor Company) they changed their name to Cork FC in 1930 andplayed in the League of Ireland until they folded in 1938 and were replaced byCork City FC who sti...ll continue to this day.
The badge is in Good Vintage condition but has some of the green enamelloss although strangely the white part of the clubs colours is complete andstill present : please see pictures.
Thebadge measures approx. 2.3cm in diameter and has a safety pin fitting on thereverse along with the makers name and address details.
