This camera is a good user. It comes with: -12" inch "No Name" Petzval type lens-original extension rail -two 4x5 film sheet holders in usable conditions.The bellows are supple and pinhole free as far as I can see and using the camera I never had any light leak problems with it, neither in the studio nor outdoors.However, as I tried to illustrate from the... photos, the bellows start wearing out a bit, but very slightly and only on the corners:that could be easily be fixed by reinforcing the corners (in the future) with a tiny drop of liquid rubber.The handle is original but the leather was starting to crack so I preferred to reinforce it with self-amalgamating tape rather than risk itto break in my hands, The self-amalgamating tape job is not exactly beautiful but it served its purpose brilliantly, as you can now carry the camera by the handle without fear.If you don't like it can be easily removed with a pair of scissors All the camera movements work as they should.The 12 " inch lens rotary focus mechanism is nice and smooth and all the glass elements can be easily unscrewed to be cleaned. I don't see any substantial faults with the lens aside the usual dust and slight cleaning marks due to its age.I believe the lens speed to be in the region of f6.8 or perhaps f8 and it obviously it covers 4x5 fully, perhaps even 5x7. In fact I even used it in the past on an 8x10 camera at portrait distance. The ground glass is fine although it needs to be cleaned.When I got the camera it had a division line across it taped over and I never understood if that was by fault or design. The division line creates a loupe effect magnifying whatever you focus through it. A bit like the split-prism in a SLR 35mm camera viewfinder kind of effect. It can be actually very useful to fine focus if you forget your loupe at home... Anyway the ground glass is solidly sitting in place and although some parts of the frame around it are a bit rusty it works just fine.The sun-shade around the ground glass is not rotten and it stays in place stiffly as it should. All in all a good camera that served me well and could do the same with you for years to come. Priced to sell. Tripod nor included. Ships to Continental USA only.
