Original Description:
This is a Early Ca. 1890 William Mills Light Weight Hard Rubber Fly Reel w/Aluminum Spool.  End plates look like the famed Fairy reel, measure just a little under two inches across the outside (not including pillars).  Spins very smoothly, has a very strong click, just a couple of tiny dent/nicks in the rim of the spool (see pic #10), all other components are German silver.  An outstanding and very rare reel!!
