I have had a badge collection for many years and it is time that I parted with them. They are a variety of different badges and each dates back to at least the 1980s. They could be older but I have had them since then. . This one is an obsolete gold metal hat badge for the Missouri State Highway Patrol officer hat piece type badge. It had a threaded post on the underside but it is broken off but still has 2 sharp posts at the top of the underside. It says on the front Missour...i State Highway Patrol and is badge number 8. Around what I guess to be the state seal it says United We Stand Divided We Fall then has some latin words. It is an authentic badge. It measures about 2 1/4" high by 2 " wide. Please see photos.
