Beautiful Marbles in a Fine Handmade Box These twenty five Akro Agates are all more or less 5/8" and in my opinion they are in the mint or near mint range. This selection includes: * 3 Popeyes--a red/yellow, a blue/yellow and a nice purple/blue/yellow hybrid; all three are Mint with only as made pinpoints.* 2 Sparklers--one is mint, the other NM(+)* 3 Oxbloods--the green patch is Mint, the Lemonade Ox is Near Mint(+) and the Spiral on Clear bubbly base... is Near Mint (a sparkle, a good sized moon and a smaller moon but no loss of glass). * 2 Fluorescent patches--both are Mint with as mades only.* 7 Corkcrews--2 Blue/Green/Whites, one NM, the other NM(+). The Yellow/White/Wispy Black on a translucent milky base is Mint. The Orange on a Wispy White/milky base Ace is Near Mint. The Red/Yellow/Green Lifesaver is Mint. The Orange/Green/dark red on Yellow Tightline is Near Mint. The Yellow/White on transparent Root Beer is Mint(-).* 8 Slags are Mint to NM(-), a few appear hand-gathered. I have included several close up pictures to help judge the colors and condition so please, make you own judgements. Overall, a very nice collection of desirable Akro's. These handmade custom boxes are patterned after the vintage Jobber boxes of the 1920's-30's & sized to fit different sizes of marbles precisely. I make these boxes myself and they are built to last. They are constructed of heavy weight Bristol board and acid free papers, the corners are reinforced and the top covered in beautiful Japanese Washi paper.
