Almaigne toong. London: Ninian Newton.Henry Lyte was an Oxford-educated, English botanist, and this page is from his 1578 English translation of Rembert Dodoens' herbal the Cruydeboeck from 1554. The page is in great condition (see pictures), with only natural discoloration from being nearly 500 years old. The page is professionally framed, and will be shipped with the frame. The original manuscript is disbound and I originally chose this page specifically to serve as a Christmas decoration. This manuscript page has provided a great deal of inspiration in my own historical fiction writing, and I'm hoping it finds a good home. I'm currently a student, and I'm selling this manuscript page to help fund my education in veterinary internal medicine and cardiology. Please feel free to contact me with any questions.
