OrnateAntique Steel Embroidery Scissors Italian* Circa 1890 Thesewonderful old steel scissors have pierced shanks with a flower pot andornate leafy scrolls.They werecompletelyhand made and filed and are engraved on bothsides. The condition is excellent with no rust or otherdamage. The bladesare tight with intact points and they cut beautifully to the tips. They'reItalian from the famous steelmakingCampobasso region and date to c. 1870-1...890.They are marked "BT" on the blades. This is the maker's markfor Bartolomeo Terzano, a well known maker of that period. Theymeasure 4 1/4" long and have a nice polished surface.
