The Barnett Commando Crossbow I has stood the test of time. Although no longer in production, this 175lb draw-weight crossbow is still highly sought after by collectors and hunters, and still widely used for both target practice and hunting. Original owner kept in excellent working condition. Silent and accurate. Not a toy.
Barnett makes some of the best crossbows available. So much so in fact, avid bow hunters literally go on quests to locate and purchase vintage Barnetts. The ...Barnett Commando Crossbow is no exception. One of the most favorite parts of the early Barnetts, is the construction utilizing mag-alloy.
This is the most nostalgic, innovative and well-built crossbow ever. No crossbow in history appeared in as many movies and shows in the 1980's as the Commando. Recall James Bond’s “For Your Eye’s Only”. This model was also used by the British Special Forces.
Clearly, the Barnett Commando Crossbow is not only on the list of much wanted hunting gear, even the old originals are still desired and utilized. Hunters believe in the name Barnett. They trust it for quality and value as well as accuracy.
