This is a phenomenal large sized antique Black forest style wood carved figural doorway transom which may have started life at the top of quite an impressive piece of furniture however over the years this unique large sized carving made its way to ...a more permanent home situated above the doorway of an Old English pub for years. Reportedly having been removed from a piece of furniture in an old Elks Lodge Building according to the previous owner overall a phenomenal large sized piece that will easily fit perfectly above any doorway. Overall in phenomenal antique condition with issues to report on a single antler which has been repaired at the tip and will need to be re-glued in place before installation. It will easily hold in place with wood glue but would not be wise to do before shipping. OverallOverall a phenomenal 100+-year-old antique Victorian era black forest style wood carved beauty that is begging for a new life back on display. Overall size 17 inches X 41 3/4”
