Bismark Archipelago, New Ireland, Papua New Guinea.Fantastic old Malagan figure carved from a single piece of wood with natural pigments and operculum inlaid eyes.  From a Southern California doctor's estate.  50" high x 11" wide x 8" deep.  A few natural splits in wood and wear to highlights.  Professionally mounted on a custom metal base.  Weight:  approx. 20 pounds.
Do to th...e size of this item it will be very costly to ship.  The piece is available for pickup in Los Angeles or I am happy to assist with any shipping arrangements made by the buyer.  I can bring to a shipping company such as UPS store but the piece will be quite costly to ship due to size.
