Awesome Antique 1890s to Early 1900s MORRILL's Football Nose Mask Guard rare
This is great item circa 1890s to early 1900s Morrill's rubber football nose mask! One of the best coolest football collectibles. Players would wear these on their face to protect their nose and teeth. The Morrill's Patent Nose Mask makers mark is on the top front of the mask. Marked on the inside is a patent date of Sept 19, 1891. The initials E Z are carved into the top front of the mask. It has the ...original strap but the bucket has been replaced. The rubber has hardened to where the mask is very hard. This is very common with these nose masks. There used to be a small part on the inside where the player would bite down on, on this one, it is missing. Please see pictures for better description. Email with any questions.
