A VINTAGE SCARCE JAMES KEILLER & SON'S, DUNDEE, HUGE 3lb SIZE STONEWARE MARMALADE JAR OR POT which dates back to the early c1900s period. Note the strongly printed highly detailed black transfer. The MALING, NEWCASTLE on TYNE made pot measures just over 14cm high by 11.3cm in diameter across the lip edge and is in NEAR MINT CONDITION being clean with full gloss sheen to the glaze surface, having no chips, cracks or hairlines, there is no residue left ...inside either. There are are manufacturers kiln blow faults which are only to be expected of these mass produced throwaway pots of the time. Please note each pot is hand made and has its own individual markings making it unique and different. I am quite happy to combine purchases for buyers to help save money on postage and shipping costs.
