Seldom seen this HQ-215 is in good working condition, but not perfect, see condition and pics. Looks complete except for missing mode switch knob and original, unmodified.
The HQ-215 was the first and only receiver produced by Hammarlund that is fully solid state using only transistors and diodes, no tubes. It was designed by Lester Earnshaw, and went into production in 1967. The receiver used the same frequency generation scheme as the Collins S line. This receiver was only produce...d in limited quantities.
