This is a beautiful vintage Singer Featherweight completely serviced and ready to sew. It has some unusual markings. On the back of the machine under the “The Singer Manufacturing Company” decal it says “manufactured in Great Britain”. This is very rare. The motor is a 110v motor that works with US outlets, but it was made in Great Britain and has a stenciled “A.P.” It has a standard US 2 prong plug. This machine has been completely serviced. It moves extremely smooth and t...he motor is powerful. It’s quiet and has a beautiful stitch. It’s one of the smoothest machines I’ve ever serviced.
Service done:The tension assembly was removed and cleaned then adjusted. The foot pedal has been adjusted. The motor ports have been cleaned and greased. The bobbin assembly was removed and cleaned. There is new felt in the drip pan. The gears have been cleaned and greased. All points have been oiled. The bobbin tension was set with a bobbin meter and upper tension adjusted accordingly. It is set to sew quilting fabric with cotton thread with the tension at 3 1/2. It has new bed cushions. The machine has been cleaned and waxed. It has an LED light
Everything works perfectly, including the light.

The machine has some paint touch ups and signs of age, (as pictured) but she’s a beautiful old gal and ready to work. There is no browning on the finish. I applied several coats of carnauba wax to protect it. The case is in very good condition and has been cleaned and polished. It has the original tray.
Shipping:I double box, remove the spool pin, and use plenty of packaging. It will be insured and shipped the day after I receive payment.
