Vintage Tamiya Hilux. Long story short my wife went to an estate sale and purchased a lot of 6 older Tamiya rc cars. When she purchased them the lady whose place it was told her that this specific one has was in a glass display in their basement since 1988! I reached out to my friend’s dad yesterday who is familiar with older rc’s and he seemed pretty excited when I brought it over so he could tell me what I needed to do to get it to run. It turns out not much! I charged the remote... and it still holds enough of a charge to work for a little while and even the original battery still holds a little charge (not sure how much though). He looked it over for me and told me it was complete and in great shape. The only things to note are that the battery for the receiver on the truck is pretty dead and when it is shifting into high gear you have to give it a little help with your hand to get there (most likely out of adjustment). He was impressed that Both of the front wheel lockers work! What you see is what you get.
