Antique Unique Blackamoor Wooden Statue / Lamp AS IS. Shipped with USPS Priority Mail.Approximately 60” tall by 20” wide
After extensive Internet research I wasn’t able to find anything that matched it closely. This is truly a unique and one-of-a-kind piece. It is in the style of a late 19th century french floor lamp- “a moor holding up a metal torch cornucopia". This was made out of wood for indoor decoration & use. It is probably of continental manufacture, and judging fro...m the paint condition made after world war 2.
The lamp would need to be rewired as it is not in working condition. The young man’s right wooden arm has been cleanly broken off, but is in good condition (as seen in the photo) and can be easily restored.
