Original Description:
You are bidding for an antique Robert Forgan hickory shafted Long Nose Driver in very good overall condition. The head bears the "R. Forgan" makers stamping along with the Forgan Prince of Wales Feather Plumes cleek mark and is in defect free condition. The head measures around 5" from head to toe and looks to be made of beech. The rams horn inset and lead back weight look to be the original and are in good order. The shaft is virtually straight and has no cracks or splits. The club ha...s a latter day underlisted brown suede grip in keeping with the era and has been re-whipped. Length around 42". Genuine and authentic circa 1885 Forgan Long Nose club.
