You are bidding for amazing Swiss made ZENITH solid 925 silver deck chronometer moon phase pocket watch Ref. 07.0050.148 with legendary 5011K movement. Runs great and all functions work as expected. These watches, which are much larger than usual pocket watches, are used by naval crews as immensely accurate timepieces used for navigation. It is a truly unique piece by Zenith featuring their famous 5011K movement in a rare silver case. This movem...ent, which was originally released by Zenith in the mid 1950's, was actually considered to be the most precise movement in the world in its category and is still considered one of the finest movements available.
This watch is sized at 60mm, which is normal for a Deck watch, but considerably larger than any pocket watch you will find, it features a glowing Guilloche dial, bright Breguette hands, has a 48 hour power reserve and moon phase indicator. There are two subdials, at the 6 and 12 positions, which only add to the classic look of this piece.
