4 EXCEPTIONAL FRENCH GILT STERLING SILVER CUT GLASS DECANTER BOTTLES BACARRAT Hello, thank you for having a look at our auctions. Up for auction is an EXCEPTIONAL SET OF 4 FRENCH GILT STERLING SILVER CUT GLASS DECANTER BOTTLES. The decanters are an amazing quality set that I believe would have been made sometime within the 19th century. The decanters all have their original stoppers with finely cut glass bases likely produced by Baccarat. Every piece of the silver mounts and stoppers are hallmarked. The hallmarks include French standard “Minerva” with “1” first standard indicating the silver mounts are Above sterling grade .950 solid silver the finest quality produced. Really hard to find even one antique decanter of this quality, let alone a complete set of four being offered Without Reserve! Each decanter will fit a full 750ml bottle of wine or other preferred beverage.
Condition: Excellent with no damage of any kind we have not cleaned likely light wear to gilding. All bottles with ‘A” monogram. Interior glass to each bottle perfectly clean with no staining or mildew damage. The nicest condition one could hope to find an antique set of four like this in.
Size: 10 1/2 inches tall, by 3 3/4 inches wide.
