This is for an old French Silver pocket watch and alarm from the early 1700s. It is by Basin of Paris, i cant find out too much about this maker, its a nice looking watch with ornate enamel dial, each numeral is actually raised on its own little bump. The sides of the case are pieced and finely decorated and the movement inside is also very finely decorated. The watch is ticking when you wind it, I am only winding it a few turns , but it ticks nicely and runs, I have no idea about how ...to make the alarm work or if it even does work, but I will answer any questions on that, no problem. It is signed on the movement Basin Paris, It is in pretty good condition too, there is a corner of one of the four little pieced panels where the decoration has come off, but that seems to be all, other than the wear you see in the pics, there are no dents or cracks or splits...etc, the enamel dial is totally intact and the numbers very clear, there is no restoration and the inside is also very clean too, possibly the minute hand is a little short but overall considering age its in pretty good order. The watch measures 54mm in diameter and stands 74mm tall.
