This is a hard to find all original 1940's 25c Buckley slot machine. Buckley was well known during the 1940's, typically revamping Mills machines and putting their own name on them. Probably 95% of Buckley machines in existence today are Mills revamps. However this machine is 100% Buckley. There are several giveaways and advancements that Mills machines don't have -- It has a Buckley escalator which is quite different than Mills and known for not jamming.&...nbsp; It even has a button to push on the side of the top casting in the unlikely event the escalator does jam. It has lighter aluminum mechanism frames. It has a large cash box that includes the area where Mills placed their handle pump and a smaller pump above the sub-base on the handle side. It has a heavy flat steel door that is definitely original, but isn't stamped out like a Mills door. includes original back door lock. The bonnet does have some damage on each side where it goes under the back door as shown--it does not affect the locking mechanism which is in the middle and the damage is hidden when it's locked. The mechanism does not have a working jackpot, rather a token vender that vends tokens with varied jackpot amounts from $25, $30, $37.50 or $50. It operates much like a Mills 777 or gold award token vender. At least one token of each denomination will be included with the machine. And it has the criss-cross mechanism that pays 20 for 3 bars in any position. IT IS A VERY FUN MACHINE FOR HOME USE--LOTS OF PAYS!!! And it is priced fairly-- it is very hard to find a quality antique 25c slot machine for just over $1000 -- there are plenty of reproduction and misrepresented slot machines on ebay at much higher prices. And 25c machines are much more desirable (and higher valued) than 5c or 10c models. I don't believe there's another comparable 25c antique slot machine priced better on ebay. After I listed the machine, I started a simple tune up to get the token vender working and ended up taking it down to the base, cleaning, and relubricating and now it's back together in tip-top shape. The token vender is working fine. Look at the pictures--machine is as shown and everything mentioned is shown in the pictures.
