Up for auction is a beautiful cutwork and embroidered linen antique or vintage Madeira or Marghab tablecloth that measures about 88 by 66 inches oval. Gorgeous "Simplicity" design done by an expert in white embroidery on a nice weighty white linen background with lots of cutwork curls and ladder work. Huge double initials on each end of the oval center look like "CGM". The eight matching napkin measure a large 19 1/2 by 19 inches and have the matching initials. A wonderful set done by ...a true expert. Excellent condition, I see no holes or spots. These were washed, ironed and stored for a few years by me, so they may be a bit yellowed. Not sure if they were every used. Enjoy!
