The artist hand cut, shaped, and polished SEVENTY-EIGHT matched diamond shaped Blue Gem turquoise stones. What an effort!! Thirty stones grace the naja, whose origins can be traced back to an Old World designed to ward off the evil eye. Each stone is embellished by a Sterling "eye loop" made from silver wire and silver drops. The blossoms, based on the silver pomegranates that adorned the Spaniard's leather breeches, are decorated with four diamond turquoise each and a short silver flower. Each turquoise is decorated with a silver eye loop and embellished with silver drops. A single and double strand of globular silver beads are strung on foxtail and Sterling cones, hook and eye finish the necklace.
Make this stunner a great part of your fine collection of Native American arts.
