SCARCE Circa 1950 Jackie Robinson Doll w/ Original Box(RARE VARIATION) & Tag
Manufactured in 1950 by the Allied-Grand Doll Manufacturing company of Brooklyn, is this offered incredible Jackie Robinson doll. While the doll itself is highly collectible, it is virtually never found with its rare accessories (baseball bat, advertising tag, numbers, and its original box). The outer box features a photo of Robinson on the front, advertised as "your own personal picture of ...Jackie Robinson." Given that the box came complete with dotted lines for cutting the picture out, it is no wonder the box itself is so rare. This offering the original box which is a very rare variation that is virtually nonexistent(the more commonly seen box is much larger).
