On the upper left side a small white tax seal: Clein Segel 18G 1788, 18 guilders in 1788 for law taxes in Holland and West Friesland / Frisia, 18 guilders in 1788 would now, in 2019, be 165 euro
signed upper left: Adr. Huygens.signed under the text right: L.P. / Mr. Laurens Pieter van de Spiegel, he lived 1737-1800 and was raadspensionaris van Zeeland.signed lower right: Ter Ordonnatie van de Staaten, C. / Caspar Clotterbooke, he lived 1711-1791, and was Secretaris van de Staten van Holland.
the text starts as: "... doen te weeten: Alzoo …"and ends with the date: ...tweeden October duizend zeeven honderd agt ent tachtig

Willem Pieter De Roo Van Alderwerelt, 1765 Delft - 1837 Brielle, Holland. father: Joan Carel Van Alderwerelt, 1726-1791.mother: Alida Anna De Roo van Roosenburg, 1725-1785.Willem Pieter added the name of his mother De Roo to his.Willem Pieter De Roo Van Alderwerelt married in 1789 with Constantia Catharina Henriette Van Baerle, 1772-1851.
the parchment has it's original folding: 2x vertical and 2x horizontal condition parchment: beautiful for it's age, firm and complete
condition wax seal: it misses soms parts at the edge, but the text is complete, the image of the Dutch Lion is good visible, the whole is firm diameter of the seal: 10 cm / circa 3.9 inch
the seal comes in a tin box, not original, but circa 1900
weight parchment + document + tin box for the seal: circa 157 gr.the last two pictures are only illustrations of 2 persons involved, they are not included with the sale
