This is an Ultra Rare piece. It is piece number 0540L which means it is the shinny finish. This limited figurine was made in Florence, Italy in 1989 and was designed by Guiseppe Armani. It is signed and in perfect condition. She is Approx 13" tall and the base 10" Long x 4.5" D. There is so much detail and work in one of these figures that it's amazing! The original box isn't with her as I never planned on selling it. It is just the magnificent piece.

Uncannyrealism and attention to detail revealed Giuseppe's true talent. He had TheGift. Giuseppe's teachers decided that Armani should attend the Academy of FineArts in Florence. Unfortunately, as the arrangements were being made, hisfather died unexpectedly. The family needed Giuseppe now. Art school wasforgotten. But the Art was not. Giuseppe Armani's natural talent was finallyrecognized when a local priest organized an exhibition of young artists;Giuseppe entered a sculpture of a classically inspired male torso. The work wasgreatly admired for its extraordinary anatomical precision. When the torso wastaken to the Art Gallery in Pisa -- located across the street from the famousLeaning Tower -- Giuseppe Armani's talent was rewarded with the offer of apermanent job there. In Pisa, Armani's dream of studying art was finallyrealized. He immersed himself in the great masterpieces of the Renaissance thathe had only read about in books. He traveled to Siena and Florence and began tohone his personal style; Giuseppe drew heavily on the style of 16th CenturyFlorentine Renaissance. Sculpture, Armani realized, allowed him to work inthree dimensions. He infused life, character and even soul into his works.Giuseppe experimented in wood, clay, alabaster and marble and his reputationgrew with each breathtaking creation. Art admirers soon started flocking to thegallery to see Armani's latest efforts.
