Magnificent French Gilt Bronze Champleve Jewelry Box Casket, medallions of champleve enamel are beautifully done in a floral pattern adorning the jewelry box. There is a hallmark on the bottom center see photo. Cherubs adorn the corners of the chest and angels with wings on the lid. It does not have a key. The lining is loose in the bottom. It is being sold in "as is" condition as shown in photos. It's size is 7" x 5" an...d 6" tall, the weight is approx. 4 lbs. I believe it dates between late 1800's to early 1900"s , I could not verify the exact age. It does wobble a little bit without anything in it. Please look at photos carefully for condition. If you would like additional photos or have any questions please ask prior to bidding, as I do not take returns. The photos were taken in natural sunlight and reflect the condition of the item. I am not an expert, info is from the owner and research of item. I have not cleaned the item.
