Vintage BEGAY Turquoise And Sterling Silver Concho Belt 221 Grams

This is a beautiful vintage BEGAY Navajo petit point turquoise and sterling silver concho belt. The buckle is 2 1/4" by 2 5/8". The 9 butterfly spacers measure 1" by 1 1/2". The 8 conchos measure 1 1/2" by 1 3/4". The whole piece weighs 221 grams. This is vintage item and shows a beautiful patina as expected. Leather belt is hand tied and approximately 1" wide and entire piece is 47" long. There are 3 belt holes but more could easily be punched as the lea...ther is very pliable.
Hallmark: C Begay (original tag indicates item was a collaboration between husband and wife team Clifford and Gina Begay)
One of the butterfly spacers and one of the conchos are each missing a small turquoise stone (based on the original tag, the piece was sold this way). These are clearly indicated in the pictures. The small pieces can easily be replaced by any silversmith, or the belt can be worn as is, as the missing pieces are not obvious when the belt is worn.
