ITEM DESCRIPTON: This is a genuine antique Football pennant from the University of Pennsylvania . PENN. The item was taken from an attic trunk. It was carefully wrapped and is wonderfully preserved. In fact, we have never seen a pennant this old that is in this condition. The original owner attended PENN from 1913 until 1917. We can't say exactly what year the pennant was purchased but presumably it was acquired during his time at the University according to his grandson. The item is HUGE, measures 34 inches from tip to wide border, not including the streamers which have been tied together. There are a few very small holes along the edge and a few in the middle that are only noticeable when holding the item up to the light. The item is very nicely made with the letters and football both being completely sewn on. This is a very nice item.
