This original authentic item is a SWANSEA CITY away shirt from around 1989.
To confirm, this is an original shirt from 1989 and is NOT a modern copy.
Manufacturer is SPALL, and with all badges and logos being felt embossed.
I was told a few years back that this shirt was produced for the Welsh Cup matches only, and produced in very, very low numbers. this would make sense as this is only the third of these I have ...seen in the past 20 years of collecting and dealing in shirts.
Size of the shirt: the neck label states the size as being 38-40" ADULTS MEDIUM, though slightly tight fitting. The shirt actually measures 21" from pit to pit and 28" in length from collar to hem. Condition of the shirt is around VERY GOOD to EXCELLENT. This shirt just has a small number of tiny plucks/pulls, but nothing too bad. The shirt looks like only worn and washed a handful of times - if that. The felt embossed badges are also ALL in EXCELLENT condition.
A great looking shirt and very, very rare to find in any size and condition, least of all in an adults size and in this condition. Consequently there is a higher than usual opening price on it.
