Here is an EXTREMELY RARE Lewistown, Pa. Milk bottle!!!!! H. C. Stuck Meadow Brook Dairy dated 1917. This is a One Quart milk bottle. His name was Harry C. Stuck. His dairy and farm location is unknown but he owned and operated a store also that was located on E. Walnut St. at the red light where the old Uni-Mart used to be! He also had a delivery route where he delivered milk in the areas of 522 North Glenwood, Mt. Rock Cemetery, The Heights, Parcheytown and p...arts of Burnham! Farmers that were selling their milk on those days [1917] were dipping their milk out of cans into their customers containers. H.C. Stuck was one of the first if not the first farmer to have a milk bottle that was personalized in the Lewistown area! Ive been a bottle digger in the Mifflin Co. area for almost 20 years and have dug literally thousands of milk bottles from Mifflin Co. dairys and have only ever dug two of this dairys bottles! One was broken and the other was in good condition! So that is why I am calling this bottle EXTREMELY RARE!! So if you bid on or buy this bottle you will have a piece of Mifflin Co. history!
