For your bidding consideration is a Buck Knife Model 184 BuckMaster Survival Tool/Knife. It was manufactured in 1984 and is one of the very EARLY 1st versions. It has a 5/16" thick blade which indicates very early production. PLEASE NOTE: this knife has a professionally applied coat of black "CERAKOTE". According to Joe Houser of Buck Knives, a number of the 184's are being sent to Buck for the CERAKOTE treatment. Most are being done with a camouflage ...;finish. Very few have had straight black. Also, only 3, 000 of the early versions were produced before Buck changed from the pommel compass to the silva model 12. Knife is new, never carried or used and would be an incredible addition to any BuckMaster collection. Knife comes with everything pictured; Knife, sheath, large pouch, survival kit (fish hooks, line & sinkers/finger saw with 2 holders(nails)/ 10 matches, and strike and an MRE opener), anchor pins, factory paperwork and all packaged in its original BuckMaster box which on a scale of 1 - 10 would be an 9.9. An INCREDIBLE knife for a model 184 collection/collector.
