Here we have a model engineering masterpiece, a rare and vintage Kavan FK50 Continental twin model aero glow engine. If you're reading this chances are I don't have to tell you how rare this is. I've owned it for about 15 years and in all that time it's just been sat in a glass display cabinet as shown in one of the pictures. I have never run it and I'm pretty sure it has never been run but I cannot say for certain. A unique feature of the Kavan FK50 is that it has a wet sump with dip ...stick so, if I recall correctly you don't have to use an oil mix in the fuel but please check this detail out for yourself. This engine comes with all it's paperwork & manual etc and the correct FK50 display stand although there is a crack in the plexiglass. It is quite easy to convert the Kavan FK50 glow to petrol, there are kits out there to enable you to do this. UK Carriage £15... International bidders welcome but please be aware that I will only send this outside of the UK by Royal Mail Track & Sign Insured and this will not be cheap as it's going to be a heavy parcel with packaging. USA & Canada will probably be around £90, Australia £120 so the best way I can do this is to charge these amounts and if it comes to less I will refund the difference through PayPal on the day of posting so long as the winning bidder also agrees to pay the difference should it come to more.
