This lovely Red Badge Singer Featherweight "222K" free arm sewing machine is said to be the "finest Singer model ever produced". Please be aware that this machine is wired for UK voltage.I would recommend that it is checked by a qualified electrician if you intend to use it.The machine has the usual wear, scratches and small paint chips around the edges you would expect from a used item, However, the gilt and black paint has retained a good colourthe edges. The chrome work has retaine...d much of its original finish. The front of the machine slides out as it should.The machine works and runs well when the foot pedal is depressed and the light is working.The bobbin case is present.The serial number is EP 759876dating it to 1959.The machine has a carrying case, the catches work fine, and a number of accessories.
