This antique original ceiling light fixture is in as found used incomplete condition. Fixture came from an estate in central Illinois and I believe it to be a Tiffany hanging fixture dating from the late 1800's to early 1900's. Brass I believe with its original bronze (appears a mottled brownish under dirt) patina. Has 3 arms which end with ball clusters and 3 small candelabra base sockets on curled arms. Arms have a nice stepped and fluted end where they mount to ball body.... Great ribbed shaped lower finial. Original key-less sockets have a screw-together brass shell. Fixture has 3 larger brass beaded ball chains that attache to hooks on an upper ball and holds a 10 in. ring or shade holder. Originally fixture would have had leaded domes or art glass dome-shades? Above the ring holder is an adjustable brass spider to help stabilize? or secure dome shade. Fixture is missing from above upper piece on ball cluster. This piece is ribbed and has a leaf? design along its upper edge (see pics). Fixture is in as found used condition missing upper tubing? and canopy. Also missing one section of the beaded chain. One arm has a soft ding from being bumped? (see pics). Fixture needs "tweaked" and adjusted overall. I have not tried to do anything to it except add hardware to hang it so as to get photos and a piece of chain to replace beaded section that is missing so I could hang ring. suspend Wiring has been done sometime in past and should be redone with restoration. Fixture is approx. 17- 17 1/4 in. overall length and is approx. 20 in. across rings. Has American standard threads not metric. Will partially disassemble to protect and facilitate in shipping. Please look at pictures as they are a major part of description. Please e-mail any and all questions.
