A beautiful antique bronze statue, signed and dated Barillot 98.France 1898.This pretty antique original bronze statue, has very fine casting and details.Depicting a young boy holding a fruit basket with his right hand, and the left hand next to his mouth ( yelling to sell the fruits ).This bronze sculpture has a nice movement and expressions.Resting on a green marble round base.Signed on the bronze” Barillot 98. “Eugène Barillot , French artist ( 1841- 1900 )The date is for 1898....With the original brown patina ( never touched )The marble base has few minor chips to the bottom rim ( as shown in photos ).I can restore this minor chips to the marble upon buyer request ( for free ).Please see photos carefully to admire the beauty of the work.H : 7 1/4 inches ( 18.5 cm ) including the base.H : 4 1/2 inches ( 11.5 cm ) bronze only.W : 2 1/2 inches ( 7 cm )No damage or dents to the bronze.VERY GOOD CONDITION
