Up for auction is a rare and pristine Kyosho Optima Pro 4WD RC Off Road Racer kit in the box. This has been stored since its purchase around 1986 or so. The box has been opened to photograph the contents, but none of the internal packaging has ever been opened. There are four mint knobby tires still in their box which I didn't photograph. The kit does NOT include a battery or charger. I'm selling this for my son in law, who received it as a gift when he was a kid but never built it. Th...e box is in excellent condition with a few creases and one small tear which was repaired with tape inside the box (see photos). There is some handwriting on the front which looks like it might be Japanese? Maybe a price? (see photo) Not sure about that. I don't know anything about these, but let me know if you need a photo of something. I normally don't do this, but there will be no returns on this due to the condition and the large number of small parts. Ask questions before you bid. This will be packed and shipped very carefully, using bubble wrap inside the box to avoid shifting during transit, then securely packed inside another box with foam peanuts or bubble wrap. Not sure how I will ship it at this time -- maybe FedEx, maybe USPS Priority -- whichever suits you best. The kit will be shipped from Anchorage, Alaska. If the bidding goes over $1k shipping will be free. I will not end the auction early, no offers will be accepted. Highest bidder gets the car.
