Very Early, TINY Revolutionary War Powder Horn, Flintlock Priming Horn, Nice Coloration andPatinaDESCRIPTION: Original small size powder horn, the size typically used during the Revolutionary War to hold priming powder. ALL PRIMING HORNS ARE SMALL, BUT THIS IS ONE OF THE TINIEST I HAVE EVER SEEN. Could have been used with a leather pouch/strap for hunting, but more likely USED WITH A MILITARY FLINTLOCK MUSKET. MEASURES ONLY 4" long, with a really nice 1 1/4" butt end. Wood plug ni...cely made and held inby hand-made iron nails.  ALSO HAS NICE CARVED POURING END. Still has the original iron hook in the wood.In very good conditon overall, with just a tiny chip at the butt end. Has particularly nice lines and coloration and patina.
