Corkscrew - "THE BUTLER" 1919 / 1920
A rare and sought after French patent no. 512 657 by Leon Debeaurian 10th September 1919 and 20th October 1920 marked "BUTLER TRADE MARK" and "MADE IN FRANCE" on both sides.  This corkscrew was sold as "THE BUTLER" in England and in France as "LE DESIRE" (see photos).
Condition:  Good, good worm, surface wear (see photos for detail).
