Rare Original Antique 1902-1904 IMPERIAL PRUSSIAN RAILWAY - 3rd EISENBAHN REGIMENT (ER) Berlin - Regimental Stein
Stein stands 11.25" tall (measured from the base to the top of the steam locomotive finial).
This was the personal stein of Reservist Steinberg (serving from the 1902-1904 time period)

Acquired from the Estate of Ambassador Hugh Montgomery (1923-2017) of McLean, Virginia. Montgomery was a decorated OSS commando who served in Europe during WWII; was one of the 'founding fathers' of the CIA (having served with the Agency for more than 63 years) as well as a Deputy Ambassador to the United Nations.
