This Spalding baseball score book was used to score games atthe ballpark. The first game recorded in the book was Boston Red Sox vs NewYork Yankees, Memorial Day of 1939 (Second Game written so must have been adouble-header). The score ended with the Yankees routing the Sox 17-9. The gamewas not fully scored. Only up to the 5th inning. The other scoringrepresented is Card vs Giants June 1, 1939, Tigers vs Yanks, June 17, 1939, Dodgers vs St Louis, July 28, 1940 (both games of double-he...ader), etc. The list goes on and the book is full.There is writing, in pencil, on the front and back covers which is difficult toread unless held at an angle to the light.
