History:This was one of the last original 1964 promo postcards NY TV Legend John Zacherle had in his personal collection. In 1993, Zach gave this actual card to FMOF Publisher and longtime friend & fan, Ray Ferry. RF scanned the card and had appx. 2000 copies made which he presented to Zach to freely autograph and distribute to his fans at the 1993 Famous Monsters of Filmland 35th Anniversary World Convention in Crystal City..., VA, celebrating the relaunch of FMOF magazine, at which Zach was the Official Master of Scaremonies.This vintage card is appx. 3" x 5" and has the original WPIX-TV logo stamp printed on the back. The red pencil markings on the back are the printer's sizing and crop marks added when the card was set up for reproduction in 1993. This artifact is an original 1964 card from WPIX-TV, Channel 11, New York. It is not one of the copies which were made for the 1993 convention.There is only 1 of this item available. A unique piece of Zacherley/Famous Monsters of Filmland history for one lucky fan.Shipped in stiff, bend-resistant cardboard flat by Priority Mail with shipping, tracking and insurance included in the price.NOTE: THE PHOTOS OF THIS ITEM WERE SNAPPED WITH A CELL PHONE. BLUR IS FROM TAKING THE PHOTO. THE CARD ITSELF IS IN PRISTINE CONDITION FOR ITS AGE. COLORS ARE BRIGHT AND DEEP. THERE IS SOME MINOR FRAYING ALONG THE EDGES. AUTOGRAPH BOX ON FRONT IS SLIGHTLY OFF-WHITE FROM AGE. BACK SIDE SURFACE IS CLEAN AND HAS A MILD TAN PATINA FROM AGE. DARK AREAS SEEN ON THE FRONT & BACK SIDE OF THE CARD ARE SHADOWS FROM TAKING THE PHOTO. THE BACK AND FRONT SIDES ARE CLEAN, EVEN AND VERY NICELY PRESERVED. THIS CARD IS OVER 55 YEARS OLD.
