This terrific poster advertising the PGA's B.C. Open has a large hand signed Johnny Hart signature in the lower right. This golf tournament was held in Johnny Hart's home town of Endicott, New York at the En-Joie golf course from 1971 till 2006. This 22" x 30" poster has lots of golf cartoons from the B.C. comic strip and well as a large drawing of B.C. (a character in the strip) swinging his gold club. Great colors, great design, super signature, stored in my flat file since pur...chase.
I was asked if this has a COA on the Hart signature. No it does not. I did put a linen tester (graphic arts magnifying glass) on it and the signature is not printed (pixilated) like all the other black lines on the poster. In other words, it is signed and not printed. If you look at other Hart signatures, like any strip he ever did, you will see it is the same. I am totally satisfied it is the real deal and it was represented to me as the real deal when I bought it. However, since I do not have a COA you will need to take a look and judge for yourself.
