This beautiful vintage basketball would be excellent for display. Leather is light in color. Has a couple scuff marks that could likely be worked out. Perfect for a vintage basketball collector. From an old house in the Pacific Northwest that had boys in the 1930's.
I don't know the year for sure. I do know that MW sold "Laceless" basketballs in the 30's, so this may have been earlier in the 1930's.
It has "MW Sporting Goods" (Montgomery Ward, I beli...eve).Also has "Varsity Official" printed on it.Model number printed on basketball is 5323.
This is quite a collector's item. I've seen models similar to this with laces, but not in as good a shape, sold for up to $350 on dealer sites.
