Presented here is an absolutely gorgeous '33 WWG Sport Kings Howie Morenz which lies within a highly coveted, very rare PSA 8 holder. This card is one of only six copies to have earned the elite assessment; a number which doesn't come close to satisfying the demand. Beautifully preserved throughout with a crisp periphery, four sharp corners and undeniable NM-MT card stock. The centering shows very well for the issue typically plagued by heavy shifts; 50-50 left to right with a modest top to bottom shift present. The surfaces are among the finest we've seen on the issue with zero print snow and precise registration. Everything is where it's supposed to be when upholding the lofty assessment. Morenz is often referred to as 'The Babe Ruth of Hockey' and won a Stanley Cup in his very first season with the Montreal Canadiens. Morenz dominated the game with his speed and masterful puck skills. He is highly popular among pre-war Hockey investors and rightfully so, his ultra rare and important cards continue to gain value.
