For those interested, a short history of thepublisher "Dečje novine" Yugoslavia.Founder of “Dečje novine” ("Children'snewspaper") was SreckoJovanovic.In its first phase, "Dečje novine"was a couple of teachers wh...o, together with his disciples, 11 December 1956thdecided that as an extracurricular activity with the release of the schoolnewspaper, and on 12 January 1957th published in the first issue of only 1, 000copies. The first issue of "Dečje novine" was published under thetitle "Children Policy".“Dečje novine” including part of the largestEuropean and worldwide publisher for children and youth. They had almostexclusive rights to publish comics in Walt Disney Yugoslavia. In eighties, "Dečjenovine " were one of the largest Yugoslav and Serbian publishers of booksand comics. For great efforts to develop friendshipand equality between our nations and nationalities, president of Yugoslavia, Josip Broz Tito was awarded the“Dečje novine” Order of Brotherhood and Unity with Silver Wreath. “Dečjenovine” were still about 15, 000 winners of various charters, awards, diplomasand other awards. Thanks to the "Dečje novine” Gornji Milanovac hasbecome one of the most famous cities in the former Yugoslavia.
