Rare Vintage Rolex TRUBEAT 6556 With DEAD SECONDS Movement Intact Circa 1956

Up for sale without reserve is an extremely rare Rolex Trubeat reference 6556 from the 1950s. This watch is very rare and has a special movement caliber 1040 which features a "dead seconds" feature. Many of the Trubeat models with 1040 movements were converted to a sweep seconds, thereby losing the most unique feature of the watch! The important thing to note, is this watch is 100% original and still has the dead seconds movement intact! I just had the watch serviced and it is running perfectly to COSC specifications!
This watch comes from the original owner who received it as a gift from his employer in the 1960s. It comes on a Rolex Swiss riveted bracelet dated "67" on the clasp. The watch is accompanied by original pictures of the owner wearing the watch as well.Although the pictures are considered the most important description of this auction listing,
please do note the following observations:
DIAL: The original dial is in great condition for its age and original markers intact. There is some very light spotting and imperfections that may be visible at some viewing angles.
Hands: The original hands are in great condition as well (see pictures)
Case: The case is in great condition despite all its years of daily use. The serial number is 139565 and has some wear from the bracelet but it is still clearly visible between the lugs at 6 o'clock. the reference number as well, 6556, is clearly legible on the opposite side.
Case Back: The original case back is also in excellent condition and has the date code I. 56 stamped.
Crystal: The original crystal was cracked so I had it replaced when the watch was serviced. It currently has a new Rolex original crystal. I may be able to locate the original crystal prior to auction end, but I am not sure I got it back from the watchmaker.
Movement: The movement is running strong and has just been fully serviced by my watchmaker and running perfectly. Watch comes with a transferable warranty (see timing machine photo)
Crown: The original Rolex crown is still intact and working nicely.
Bracelet: The pictured original Rolex bracelet has some stretch but is in good working condition.if any questions please ask @sportrolexes
