ORIGINAL ESTATE COLLECTION OF 44 MAGIC LANTERN SLIDES ALL OF YELLOWSTONE NATIONAL PARK ATTRIBUTED TO FRANK J HAYNES (1853-1921)
This is just a great original collection. Fresh from a local estate this is a wonderful collection of magic lantern slides attributed to Frank Haynes. 44 glass slides with both typed and handwritten labels identifying the location of each slide. Many images as well as paper insert border and hand written labels match those known t...o be by Haynes. None of them are signed but I am confident they are by Haynes. Included in the lot are images of many of the Geysers, the Sulphur Springs, many of the buildings, and even some images of early maps of the park. One of my favorites is a scarce early view of Larry's Lunch Tent. Slides all measure 4 x 3 1/4 inches and are in good condition. No cracked glass on any of them. Really an outstanding collection. I have tried to include images of each of the slides. If you need more specific images of a particular slide, email me and I will be happy to send them to you. CHECK THE PICTURES ON THIS GREAT PIECE.
