Click images to enlarge Description This listing is for a Large Round Sterling Silver Serving Tray from Ellmore Silver Co., with Hallmarks on the back. This very beautiful tray has a raised or repousse draped garland around the edge and IS monogrammed in the center with DWS (or DSW whichever is correct) This tray measures 15" in diameter.
The Hallmarks on the back show this was made by Ellmore Silver Co., in Connecticut somewhere between 1935-1960. Pattern #455 and Sterling is also stamped on the back. This weighs 792 grams.This item was acquired from a private local client. It has been used, and very well cared for. I do not know the history of this item. I see some light topical wear, scratches and a few dings due to normal use and age.
